|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Shearer Farm Cemetery (known by the family that owned the farm at one point). In the 1790s, Benjamin Brubacher (1774-1863), son of Peter Brubacher of Rapho Township purchased a farm in this area.
Living family members can still remember tending the family cemetery.
In the 1940s the Kreiders owned the land and decided to remove the cemetery to facilitate farming. They then erected a roadside monument with names and dates from the original stones (confirmed with retired sons who live nearby). The disposition of the original stone monuments has not been determined.
