|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
After the death of J.S. Gardner, three acres of his land was sold to Henry Stetler on 19 Feb 1864. Almost immediately Henry & Mary Stetler sold 3 acres of land to the trustees of the St Paul German Reformed Congregation. The cornerstone for the new church was laid on 19 June 1864. Dates on older stones would indicate that a cemetery was here when the land was sold to the church.
The cemetery is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Gardner Street and Kilbourne Street (Ohio State Route 18). The cemetery is 2 acres in size.
The cemetery is located in the city of Bellevue, Sandusky County, Ohio, and is # 10749 (Saint Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery / Reformed Cemetery) in “Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003”, compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) feature ID for the cemetery is 1960275 (Reformed Cemetery).
