Cemetery notes and/or description:
This cemetery is very hard to find if you dont know where you are. it is near the bridge up on mountain , very wooded, there is an old road at the start, its about 400yrs up the road to the right, its across from "hoyt's" i cant remember no more than that name.
its on the old James Kilgore Farm. I think the offical name of the "spot in the road" is call "Hortons Ford",
there is no cabin or farm there now, only an old short road.
My memory its about 2miles south of the scott county line if your traveling twords kyles ford onthe right.

there is about 35+ graves up there, mainly alot of kilgore's.

I put a new confederate stone for James Kilgore up there among all the rock ones that you cant read, i set it near a pine tree, but his and his wife susannah is the 2 oldest and biggest stones in the middle of it.

****** I found this (below) from Eula Mae Lyon McNutts notes about the cemetery:
This Cemetery was started when David D. Rodgers owned the farm. Hiram Horton bought from Rogers 27 Sept 1858.
Horton sold to James M. Kilgore 31 Aug 1876
