Cemetery notes and/or description:
Jaggers Cemetery is a family cemetery with approximately 61 burials dating from 1918 to the present. The majority of the markers are commercial granite blocks. Some of these are contemporary with the burials but most are modem replacements of older markers. Other markers include: heart shaped blocks, military ledgers, bevels and one inscribed fieldstone. Many of the headstones are flanked by marble urns. Two military burials have flagpoles in addition to the military plaque.

The entire cemetery is grassed, but the burials are divided into two sections which have distinct landscapes. The section at the crest of the hill is open with the exception of one cedar and a newly planted dogwood. Family names represented here are Jaggers, Sew, Stice and Cowles. The section on the slope of the hill has roses and lilies planted by headstones. Trees along the edge of the cemetery shade the burials as well as an oak and a pine planted amid the markers. Family names represented in this section are Gipson, Vincent, Pucket, and Lee.

Jaggers Cemetery began as a one-acre lot donated to the family for use as a cemetery. The cemetery is regularly visited and decorated. New markers are being erected and saddle decorations of plastic flowers adorn the graves. Plastic sprigs are planted around the headstones and on the burials. There are several hanging baskets and a few stands of plastic flowers as well.
