|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Located next to Owens Cemetery. They are adjacent to each other but have separate entrances and signs with a fence between.
Located in Rapides Parish in an area called Henderson Hill, 4.0 miles from the town of Boyce. The site of the Old Cotile Post Office which was established in 1816 by Francis Henderson was nearby. The cemeteries can be reached from LA Hwy. 8 by turning left on LA Hwy. 121 (Hot Wells Road) one mile North of Boyce. Continue on this road for 2.4 miles and turn right (at an angle) on a narrow blacktop road (there is no sign). After crossing Bayou Jean-de-Jean, continue for .2 miles up the hill to what
is known locally as Red Store Hill. Turn right and the cemetery is located to the immediate right. A driveway divides the cemetery and the Owens Section is to the left of the gate. By Jane McManus 2001
