What appears to be one cemetery is actually 3: Sacred Heart, Saint Bridgets and Saint Stanislaus Kostka. Sacred Heart is sections 6 and 7 (see map at right). It contains the graves of many people of French descent, as well as a few early Polish graves that pre-date Saint Stanislaus Kostka (French graves that pre-date Sacred Heart can be found in Saint Bridgets). A grassy area marked by Jesus on the cross is the site of the no longer existent Sacred Heart Church, which stood at that location from 1882-1982.
