|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Adath Israel Cemetery was established in the second or third decade of the 20th century when the Agudat Achim rabbi and some followers established Adath Israel, a primarily Russian-Jewish congregation. The large wrought iron gates have been stolen. There is an unused chapel on the grounds. Adath Israel closed due to loss of membership and Agudat Achim took over responsibility for maintaining their grounds. It is located on Mt. Stuart Road, near the intersection of Chism St. (3 houses & patch of woods in-between) and separated from Free Jewish Cemetery by a row of trees.
