|Lucy Hill Cemetery Complex|
Also known as: Fairview Cemetery, Lucious Cemetery, Stallworth Cemetery
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Lucy Hill Cemetery complex consists of three sections named Stallworth, Fairview and Lucious. Fairview is the section located to the east that is bordered by Harris and Johnson streets. Stallworth is the cemetery located at the south end of the Lucy Hill complex and Lucious is the cemetery that lies on the north end. Lucious and Stallworth are bordered by Harris Street on the east and an open meadow to the west.
If driving on Hwy-21 (also known as N. Main Street), turn east onto Liberty Street. At Harris Street make a left turn and follow this winding street through a maze of left and right turns. Harris will cross over a small creek, at which point the cemeteries will be seen on both sides of the road. Stallworth is the first section to be seen on the west side (left) of Harris.
If entering on CR-27, turn north onto King Street for about 5 blocks. At Johnson Street turn left (westward). The first cemetery on the left is Fairview. Stallworth is directly ahead on the west side of Harris Street.
The entire complex is large and covers an area that is about 3 city blocks in size. Stallworth is separated from Lucious Cemetery by a central utility road. Stallworth is the southern end, and Lucious is the northern end.
