Jamestown I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Jackson Township, Boone County. This is a fairly large, active cemetery with many graves from the second half of the 19th Century. It is located along State Road 75 in the town of Jamestown in the Northeast Quarter of Section 10, Township 17 North, Range 2 West, Second Principal Meridian of the Public Land Survey System. Jamestown was established in 1830 just a few days before Boone County was established. Jamestown was the original seat of Boone County. Lebanon became the county seat in 1832.
