"Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray The Lord, My soul to keep. I heard my country's desperate call, and in the line of duty, I gave my all. I don't regret the choices I make, and accept the honor of my fate. When at last my family receives the call, please dear Father bless them all. I now stand at your Pearly gates, with my brothers who kindly chose to wait. Together we'll walk down the Streets of Gold, with our heads held high from Faith and Love. So Lord as they lay me down to rest, give my folks all my best. My soul is yours, its always been, so take me home to live again - Forever and everů Amen."-Unknown Author
This Memorial Wall is a labor of love for me. I have visited it many times since I was a little girl and I always wanted to know who Harry Rock was. Well Harry was my Great Grand Uncle on my Rock side. Along with Harry I have 6 other family connections on this wall. John W Hudson who was the husband of my 2nd cousin 4x removed on the Loveless side, Samuel Downing and Thomas Beal who were my 2nd cousins 4x removed on the Loveless side, Floyd Bigelow who was the brother in law of my 1st great grand uncle on my Rock side, Carl Nydegger who was my grandfathers cousin, Silas Shaffer who was my grandfathers Great Uncle on the Nydegger side.
