|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Conner cemetery is a private cemetery that was started on the farm of James W. Conner and his wife, Ann Carnop Conner, in the mid-1800's. It is located in a heavily forested area two miles south of Dekalb, Mississippi. There are four tombstones there, but there are rocks marking probably nine or ten more graves. After many, many years of being untended, the cemetery was recently found and restored to dignity by a great grandson and a great, great grandson of James and Ann Conner.
More detailed instructions on how to find the cemetery can be found at the Dekalb Public Library.
