|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Lucy Hill Cemetery complex consists of three cemeteries named Stallworth, Fairview and Lucious. Fairview is the section located to the east that is bordered by Harris and Johnson streets. Stallworth is the cemetery located to the north and Lucious is the cemetery that lies to the south (oldest section). Lucious and Stallworth are bordered by Harris Street on the east and an open meadow/field to the north, west and south. The two are separated by a gravel utility road where a tall flag pole is standing; Stallworth on the right and Lucious on the left. Each cemetery of the complex now has signs posted that clearly marks where it begins and ends.
If driving on Hwy-21 (also known as N. Main Street), turn east onto Liberty Street. At Harris Street make a left turn and follow this winding street through a maze of left and right turns. Harris will cross over a small creek, at which point the first cemetery (Lucious) will be seen on the left and Fairview on the right.
If entering on CR-27, turn north onto King Street for about 5 blocks. At Johnson Street turn left (westward). The first cemetery on the left is Fairview. Stallworth and Lucious are directly ahead on the west side of Harris Street and the utility lane at the flag pole is the division line.
The entire complex is large and covers several acres.
