This cemetery is on private property. The approximate GPS location is 32.034858, -90.616127. Access is behind a dated dirt road just east of the second intersection of Torrey Road and Jack Road, southeast Utica, MS.
This cemetery is on property that was part of several Land Patents issued to Theophilus Green (b. 1805 North Carolina d. 1865 on this land). The patent dates are 1835, 1840, 1841, 1859 and 1861. Theophilus Green's second wife was Permelia Jacob, daughter of Gracey Bond and Walter Jacob. Most of those buried here are related to either the Green or Jacob family. Non-family burials were associated with this family through White Oak Church near Carpenter or through community.
Memorials for this cemetery have been created from a survey of the cemetery done by Earl Bryant Cooper in 1959. Caleb Broadwater and Mordecai Jacob are know Confederate Civil War Veterans buried here.
