|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Located on left 1/2 mile down Worldstown Road off KY-300, at the crest of a small hill to the west of a small pond. Other names for the cemetery are World Town and Worlds Town. It is also known as the "Baker Cemetery." In late 1800s and early 1900s, several African Americans named WORLS from Junction City were married, and it is possible that the area where they lived came to be called Worlstown, later Worldstown. In the mid 20th Century, it was a predominantly African American community.
Much of the cemetery has been destroyed, with gravestones and even actual caskets being bulldozed over the years. The area has many depressions without markers, and there are undoubtedly other markers left to be located.
