The cemetery is located on Faith Drive a dead end street off of Old Hunts Bridge Road. When I first located the cemetery is was not fenced in and was overgrown with weeds.
Then a descendant Warren Hunt started maintaining the site and had a fence erected to keep vehicles/vandals out of the cemetery. Warren kept the cemetery mowed as his health permitted. Several gravestone were damaged during bushogging efforts.
Warren Hunt died about 6 years ago and the cemetery has not been maintained saplings have grown to the height of a person. Vandals have struck again and broke some more gravestones even moving them around. The cemetery is only fenced in on the side near faith Drive and the gate has a rusted padlock on it. I talked with Warren Hunts daughter in August of 2009 and the key was lost after her father died. She lives in North Carolina and supports my efforts to clean up the cemetery again.
The cemetery contains the graves of family members as well as a section of slave graves as they were also buried at the site.
Note 2013 Vandals struck again this time the entire ChainLink Gate was stolen.
