|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The cemetery is at the east end of Wallis Street, which may be accessed from Barrow Street (Louisiana Highway 182). An historically African-American cemetery, the cemetery takes its name from the traditional name for the surrounding neighborhood. The land for the cemetery was reportedly given to the Plymouth Rock Baptist Church congregation in 1906. The Plymouth Rock Baptist Church stands at the west end of Wallis Street at its intersection with Barrow Street.
