|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Powder Springs Baptist Cemetery has been known by many names. The earliest Springville and the Primitive Baptist. The cemetery located on a hill next to the church just off Lost Mountain road in the center of Powder Springs and stood there until 1864 when Union Soldiers tore it down in late 1864. The church was then rebuilt at its present location on Marietta Street in 1877. In 1906 the church changed its name to Powder Springs Baptist. Today the cemetery appears to be fairly well kept, but some of the old stones are broken and some have been removed.
