Cemetery notes and/or description: The cemetery was established in 1869. The cemetery is closed to further additions, however it is still open to current lot owners. The church began as a German Lutheran church, known as Trinity Lutheran Church. In 1911 it joined the Evangelical Synod of North America, which in 1934 merged with the Reformed Church of America. The Reformed Church merged with the Congregational denomination and became the United Church of Christ. Trinity is now known as Trinity United Church of Christ. The cemetery is administered by the church council. Trinity also maintains the German Lutheran Church of Brookfield Cemetery on the corner of Calhoun Road and Capital Drive (under the water tower).
