Location as listed in the Survey of Cemeteries Cook County, Georgia compiled and written by Dilliard D. Ensley. This survey includes interments through 2000.
Location: From the traffic light in Sparks, go south on U.S. Highway 41 for .4 miles. Turn right onto Alabama Street. Proceed west on Alabama for .35 miles and then bear slightly to the right onto Hodge Street. Go .1 miles straight west on Hodge, and then turn right on Rhone Street. Go Approximately .15 miles north on Rhone; turn onto paved road to the left [first road]. Go approximately .15 miles west on this road to the gate of the cemetery...the cemetery is divided by an unpaved road. The area to the south is referred to as section A and the area to the north is referred to as section B.
According to Ensley, this cemetery contains 262 identified persons who are buried in this cemetery...221 have markers and 41 have been identified from other records. 77 depression which would indicated a burial and probably are some of the 41 which were identified from other records and no marker.
According to Ensley, the oldest headstone is Stanley Haselton born 1851 died Oct 1 1902.
