Cemetery notes and/or description: Spring Canyon Cemetery is in Lincoln County – just across county line from Grand Coulee and Grant County. It is closely associated with Grand Coulee and run by Lions Club there. It really has no association with any town in Lincoln County.
Directions: From Grand Coulee, take Hwy 174 east towards Spokane for 2.8 miles. Make a left turn at the Spring Canyon Campground exit. The cemetery is on the left side.
Spring Canyon Cemetery was started by the Grand Coulee Lions Club. They purchased about 7 acres with the first burial taking place in the fall of 1957. It continues to be owned and maintained by the Grand Coulee Lions Club. It has been self-supporting for more than 20 years with a perpetual-care endowment fund. After 40 years, about half of the grave sites have been used. This cemetery is located just inside Lincoln County from Grand Couleee, Grant County, WA. It services many towns in the surrounding area, such as Grand Coulee, Coulee City, Electric City, Elmer City and others. (It is confusing because Grand Coulee is in Grant County, but this cemetery that serves the area is in Lincoln County.)
