|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This historic hallowed ground sits on a bluff overlooking the Spanish Fork River Bottoms. Most of the grave markers were washed out, some were salvaged. The restoration of this Pioneer Heritage Cemetery was a cooperate effort between the City of Spanish Fork, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the developers of the surrounding subdivision. The project took four years to complete. It was dedicated on July 21,2009 by Ross Baadsgaard. The list of POSSIBLE burials includes only those who died in Spanish Fork during this period of time who have NO KNOWN MARKERS in the current cemetery. Typical of each & every stone: NONE has engraving. Stones are only representative, but NOT of location or occupant. NO way to identify location / occupant of a grave. Original monuments were deteriorated wood / stone, since lost.
