|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery is a historical entry. There are no burials, markers, or memorials of any sort at this site. It is a parking lot.
Cheviot had two cemeteries in the city center on Harrison Avenue, one across the street from the other. The one on the south side was known as the (Green) Township Cemetery. It was also referred to as the Cheviot Cemetery. The earliest tombstone was dated 1825 and burials continued through the 1850's. All of the bodies were removed from this cemetery and reburied at the Bridgetown Cemetery. Today this cemetery is a municipal parking lot. The second cemetery was referred to as the Baptist Cemetery. Today it still exists and is called the Westwood Baptist Cemetery.
