This cemetery itself does not exist today. Three graves were moved about 1910 to the Keagy Cemetery in Woodbury Twp., Bedford Co., Pa. The remainder of the cemetery has disappeared over time.
The cemetery was located on a hill Northeast of th village of Bakers Sumit, Bloomfield Twp., Bedford Co., Pa.
From Bakers Summit take Route 867 North. As you pass the last house in Bakes Summit take the first dirt road to the left. Stay on this road till you come to a ninety degree turn to the right. STOP! Look front/left corner you should see a hill. On the hill is where the Bakers were buried.
The private burial ground was on "Baker Summit" farm (Mowery farm), on the highest cultivated peak at Bakers Summit. One side of the forest covered Dunning Mountain, on the other side over looking the valley of Morrisons Cove. In this resting place there are one dozen graves, the best and most preserved tombstones are those of Daniel Baker and his wife Elizabeth.
The three graves that were moved were: Peter Baker, his son John and John's wife Elizabeth.
