|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery is located behind Seanor's Church, at the intersection of Seanor Church Road and Glenn Fox Road in New Stanton, Penna.
Most probably started as the Seanor's family burial plot (ca. 1770). The first recorded burial of a person was buried there in May of 1801.
The cemetery was "formalized" by the writing and approval of by-laws and appointment of a cemetery board in 1932. The cemetery was called, at that time, Seanor Church Cemetery. On November 29, 1974, the cemetery was incoprorated under the Pennsylvania Non-Profit Corporation Law of 1972. The cemetery was named St. Paul Seanor Cemetery.
In the center of the cemetery is a tall monument, dedicated to the memory of the soldiers who served in the Revolutionary War and the Civil War and were buried in the cemetery at the time of the dedication of the monument (ca. 1900).
