Rhode Island Historical Cemetery North Kingstown #101
Location: 470 ft east of 1341 STONEY LANE at TEL pole # 106
12 burials with 10 inscriptions from 1830 to 1888 50 ft x 60 ft enclosed with a stone wall; no sign 13611381 Stoney Lane. Move right of driveway along lane noting stone wall on right. Break in wall about 500' from road. Just beyond at the top of slope is a large rock out-crop, said to have been an Indian signal point. The ancient farm with a 1732 dwelling was owned by Mary Arnold in the 19th century. |
