|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Jackson Center Cemetery is a rural cemetery in Jackson Township, Tioga County, PA; just east of the Jackson Center Road and Pony Hill Road intersection on the north side of Pony Hill Road. The cemetery was associated with the historic Jackson Center Methodist Episcopal Church and then the Jackson Center Cemetery Association. Grave dates range from the mid-1800s, when pioneer settlers moved into the forested and hilly terrain to establish dairy and hay farms and forestry operations, to the present. Belknap, Barnes (Barns), Everitt (Everett), Gaige, and Hamilton family names predominate grave registrations. The graves primarily face west and are in good condition as the cemetery receives regular maintenance. Visitation is open to the public. Parking is limited to a single maintenance access lane.
