|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This family cemetery on Fatherland Plantation, near Natchez, was used from the late eighteenth century until the mid nineteenth century. In 1978 a descendant of the Bingaman family donated the property to the state. It is across St. Catherine Creek from the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians but is not being maintained and is not accessible unless one knows where to wade across the creek and where to go through the bamboo and brambles after crossing the creek. The only readable marker as of March 2009 is that of Judith Sargent Murray.
