Cemetery notes and/or description:
Location: Section 10, R16E, T16N, Gatesville Township, Wagoner County, Oklahoma. Southwest of the town of Red Bird.
The cemetery is not abandoned nor is it densely wooded. People are still buried in the cemetery and it is maintained during the spring and summer months.
Remarks: Named after Lulu Barber (Creek Indian Freedman F-4411) on whose land the burial grounds were located. Sometimes referred to as the Creek Indian Freedman Cemetery. |
