The Confederate Cemetery is wholly enclosed in the San Antonio City Cemetery #4. City Cemetery # 6 and #4 also share the same large block. The cemeteries are bounded by E. Commerce St, N Palmetto St, Paso Hondo St, & N New Braunfels. Within the block City Cemetery #6 occupies about 1/3 of it to the west end, and the rest is Cemetery #4 and the Confederate Cemetery. The Confederate Cemetery is demarcated by named street lanes with street signs within the boundaries of Cemetery #4 and is a recognized National Historic Site. |
