Cemetery notes and/or description:
St. Mary's on the Lake Cemetery is small with a rectangular layout. A north/south access road leads from the gate to an undeveloped area to the north dividing the cemetery in two: an eastern half and a western half. A gravel road makes a loop in each cemetery half running from the central access road to the far ends of the cemetery and then back again, creating a large island in the interior of each half. The Dennis Jurgens grave is in the eastern island, on the far northeast end that is near houses and backyards. Take the road to the east (immediate right after entering) and follow it till you have made two ninety degree left turns and then just when you have finished the second turn and begin heading west (back toward the central access road), park the car. Walk toward the interior of the cemetery. The Jurgens grave is about 10 graves in from the road and one row east of an upright headstone that says "Zerwas." There is a prominent collection of Zerwas headstones 50 feet to the south that you passed when driving in so don't get confused and look near them. |
