This cemetery is located within the boundaries of the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation. Any non-tribal members traveling on this reservation, other than on United States or Arizona Highways, are required to have a permit from the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Even with the permit you are NOT allowed to enter or photograph any tribal burial grounds. Doing so can result in a fine of $250, or more, and/or the confiscation of personal equipment. |
