|On Williams Road|
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Williams Road Cemetery does not have any marker or sign to identify it. It it surrounded on three sides by a short rock wall. Entry through the gate is from the road side. This site was surveyed by June and Lewis Hanna in October 1978, and they called it the "Peddy-Jones-Clark Cemetery."
To find the cemetery, drive on Interstate 185 south from Harris County or north from Columbus. Take exit 12 west toward the Georgia Welcome Center. You will see a Shell Station (as of 31 Oct 2010) on your left. The cemetery is next to the station. You will be on a divided road. Proceed west until you can turn around to drive east again and turn right into a ballfield just before the cemetery.
The cemetery is old and has not been well cared for. There are a few visible graves and certain of those no longer have identifying stones for those buried in them.
