Cemetery notes and/or description:
Hagan Cemetery is located about five miles from Crockett on the Old San Antonio Road ( Hwy 21 West), on the left side of the road. As far as can be determined, it was began in 1864 with the burial of Mr John C Hagan. A fenced in area nearest the road had a sign: "Erected in memory of Buckshot Burton", but the gate holding the sign has been removed. The plot is used primarily byt the Burton, Johnson and related families.
