|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Coming from Carter City, follow 474 up the hollow to Smith Creek to the start of the Cut Hill, (you will be heading toward Vanceburg.) Carl Williams' brick home sits kinda into the side of the hill on the left. About 200 yards Carl Williams' home there is a small road that turns off 474, very sharply to the right and goes down the embankment for about 100 ft., then turns back sharply to your left around the edge of a field. Just past this turn is a barn. Past the barn uaed to be the Old smith Creek Post Office. It is the size of a large outhouse. Continue on this little road up that small hollow to the top of the ridge. (It's about 3/4 of a mile to the top of the hill from the main road.) Turn right at the top of the hill. The cemetery is located about 1/2 mile from here on the right hand side of the road.
