|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Built in the early 1800's, the Johnson Family Vault on Mont Saint-Gregoire (formerly Mount Johnson) was used for about 50 years and was known to contain the remains of at least seven family members. It later fell into disrepair and was looted during World War I. In the 1950s it was believed to have been destroyed by earthmoving equipment. Late 1990s archaeological work uncovered the vault and led to plans for its reconstruction. Mont Saint-Gregoire is a small pyramid shaped mountain 35 minutes south of Montreal that is now home to hiking trails and is well known for its views of Montreal and the surrounding area.
