Cemetery notes and/or description: The chapel was designed and built by noted church architect Ralph Adams Cram as a place of worship for his family and neighbors in 1913 and dedicated during World War I. It is a nationally registered landmark. For many years, the Society of St. John the Evangelist, to which Cram bequeathed the chapel, leased it to St. Elizabeth's for a token sum and finally deeded it over in November, 1983.
