Cemetery notes and/or description: [Clarification notes added by Geoffrey Gillon-March 2013.]
There are two entirely distinct St Pancras churches in London, two of which are in the St Pancras district of north-west London-these are St Pancras Old Church in Pancras Road and St Pancras Parish Church in Euston Road. These are entirely separate from the municipal St Pancras Cemetery which lies some miles further north at East Finchley.
There was another St Pancras church, dedicated to Saint Pancras, and this was in the City of London, a stone's throw from the River Thames. It was located on Soper Lane, now known as Pancras Lane, but this was destroyed in the "Great Fire of London" of 1666 and was not rebuilt.
