|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery is located on the east side of Kidds Fork Road about ¼ to a ½ mile from Sparta Road (Rt. 721). It is in a large grove of cedar trees along side Kidds Fork Road; there are no standing grave stones, so finding it may be difficult. Herbert Collins, the Caroline County historian, gave these directions, but it was not found in the summer of 2014 with the trees in full foliage. There is just one marker, a flat stone with “James & Mary Taylor” inscribed with no dates. This marker is not for James Taylor, who died in 1698 and his wife, Mary Gregory Taylor. Instead it is for a later James Taylor, who also had a wife named Mary.
