|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
There are only 23 stones in this cemetery although there may be some unmarked graves.
Fairview Cemetery, also once known as The Brethren Cemetery, is located in section 3 of Alberta township, Benton County, at 170th Street NE and 110th Avenue NE and is about 5 miles south of Ramey (in Morrison County); 345th Avenue goes south from Ramey (on Nature Road) and turns into 110th Avenue in Benton County.
The cemetery was established about 1900 by a congregation of German Baptists who were also known as Dunkards because of their practice of baptism by immersion. Their church was located in Ramey and is believed to have been called The World Wide Church of God. A second group used the church after they disbanded and may have renamed it Fairview.
