Old Springs Methodist Church Cemetery is located off of Gray Mare Hollow Rd. (State Hwy 146).
From Augusta, take the Sandbar Ferry Rd. and continue on US-278 East/Williston Rd. Turn left on Gray Mare Hollow Rd. Turn right onto a dirt road called Backstretch Drive. Take the dirt road to the right and the cemetery is on the left in the woods which is about 100 yards from the main road. The cemetery is 20.8 miles from Augusta.
This is also the original site of Old Springs Methodist Church which was organized in 1820. It was relocated in 1953 at St. Paul Methodist Church in New Ellenton, Aiken County, South Carolina.
This cemetery is in good shape and is taken care of.
