|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Russellville Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in Russellville. It is located one half mile north of Russellville. From Route C go east, go north on Route U about three-tenths of a mile; turn left on Rock House Ford Road and go about one -fourth mile; and you will find the cemetery on the right. It was called "City Cemetery" by the City officers. Some names familiar to Russellville are Leslie and Russell. Joseph S. Russell is buried here. His father was Buckner Russell one of the founders, who the town was named for. This cemetery was in grave condition with many broken stones until Dean King and his volunteers restored the cemetery and repaired many of the stones. Dean King also supplied all the pictures for the posting.
