This Quaker Lot was partially recovered on January 1, 2016 by River Road Cemetery Volunteer and BVHS member Ken Postle. He found the cemetery following this posted description. "Surveyed by Roger Beaudry on March 11, 1995. Previously recorded by John P Di Cola. Lot is located directly behind home at #21 Greenwood Lane. Only field stone markers were found. The name Pitcher is a name given by Mr Di Cola. He believed that the people buried here may have had that name although that particular family name is not common to the area."
During Postle's raking and probing survey, he found 26 burials with at least another row yet to dig out-there is a lot more raking of mulch to do. The Cemetery as found was full of downed trees and was a huge mulch pile with a few field stones poking through. The yard has at least 3+ full rows of field stones,some rather large and one double set of headstone and foot stones together indicating what looks like a "twin" burial" in the eastern corner. There is an entrance on the Western edge and the field stone wall is in excellent shape-there is currently no sign there marking the yard...
