"The entire columbarium is covered in stones that were burned from the old church," she said. "The cross that's in the chapel portion of the columbarium is from the roof of the old burned church, so we've joined together our history and our future in this beautiful construction, and we've joined the living with the dead."
St. Andrew's Columbarium will serve as a final resting place for many to come.
The Rev J. Scott Mayer, bishop of the Diocese of Northwest Texas, consecrated the Columbarium Chapel Sunday, March 16, 2014.
