|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
REQUESTING FURTHER IMAGES IS POINTLESS, those w/o images are either effaced or were never marked. Many names were completely worn off.
Fomerly Slaton cemetery, after John Slaton, (elected) jailer of Breckinridge co from ca 1883-1899 (some dates on the newspapers that show election results are illegible.)
His monument is conspicuously tall, with his wife on same monument and his son's stone in front. You must turn (west) onto Blue Fork from Rosetta-Corners Road and look to the right, cemetery is fenced in but easy to miss, you must park beside a private home. There is some destruction from time, with obvious markers toppled, broken and partially buried, and some "initial" markers that can only be conjectured.
This is NOT the same cemetery as Rosetta United Methodist, which is nearby, located on the Rosetta-Corners Road across from church. This submitter visited both yards on July 16, 2013.
