|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Also known as ASA LAW CEMETERY.
On Hardman Hollow (Law Run) of Sycamore Lick between Jane Lew and Jackson's Mill, County Rt. 10. Family cemetery on private property. Grave records listed here were prepared by visual inspection by Victor H. Hardman, owner of the property, in the 1970s. There are at least five unidentified graves at this site.
A descendant, O. G. Law, made a visual inspection of this area in 1989. In his notes, he said the following markings were found on stones in this cemetery:
1) "L. L.", 2) "A. L.", 3) "T. L.", 4) "AL. D.," 5) "S. S.", 6) "Infant son of ______", 7) "B. R. L."
These could easily be the foot markers for 1) ?, 2) Alfred Law, 3) Thomas Law, 4) ?, 5) Stokely Sturgess, 6) ?, and 7) Benjamin Remus Law.
A copy of the plot may be seen on several individual memorials.
