Cemetery notes and/or description: The Slopes are the hilly part of the Home Park between the castle and the river. The Home Park, was previously known as the Little Park (and originally Lydecroft Park), and is a private 655 acres Royal park, administered by the Crown Estate. It lies on the eastern side of Windsor Castle in the town of Windsor, Berkshire. The grave of Dash, the favorite spaniel of Queen Victoria as well as the greyhound, Eos,another royal pet, can be found in the area.Victoria and Albert were notorious for surrounding themselves with pets. Their menagerie consisted of a huge number of dogs, most of them belonging to the Queen. Eos however was exclusively Prince Albert's.A further statue of Eos,mounted on a red granite pedestal graces the terrace at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight.
