|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Humphey-Burrows Cemetery is designated D41 in Gone, Forgotten, Now Remembered. It is on top of hill off Stockdell Road on the county's Skullbusters property, overlooking a lovely valley. Cemetery is fenced in. Cemetery entrance/exit is a cattle gate. Handful of headstones are in good shape and readable. There are perhaps 18 small field stones that are unreadable. Lots of overgrowth. My wife, Lynn, and I visited Humphrey-Burrows Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 to cut down some of the growth, clean headstones, take photos of the headstones, record GPS coordinates, and pray for the repose of souls.
Poison ivy on or near some headstones.
Cemetery adopted by Mike and Lynn Key, Georgetown,KY.
