|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Once a large church on Jessamine Creek, headed by
Rev. Jacob Rhorer, who was the last of the original Moravian preachers in Jessamine County. He died about 1866.
The Church would later be known as the United Brethern.
His son Jacob, Jr was also a pastor of the church. The church was later called United Christian. It stood on what is now Short Shun Pike. The Moravians also had a school at the church. The land was deeded on July 24, 1841 to the Wilmore Christian Church.
When that church moved to Wilmore, they tore down the old church for the usable lumber to be used in the construction of the present building they use now in Wilmore.
