|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Hamilton may also be known as old Wilson town. It is northeast a short way from Wilson town (first road east about 1/2
mile, then south through a pasture gate about 1/4 mile to a timbered area in the middle of a field. The cemetery is
abandoned and is a mess of fallen trees and overgrowth. Many of the stones had fallen over and were covered with as
much as 6 inches of dirt and leaf mold. The name Hamilton evolved because the Hamilton home was nearby. The cemetery is on private proberty, and the owner should be contacted first before going on the ground.
