|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Brownsville Mining District was in the area of Pennsylvania and Missouri Gulches about 2 miles outside of Murphys, CA. The only grave still visible is enclosed by a iron fence and has 3 members of the Webster family in it.
At one time there were many grave markers, but a foreman for the Adams Ranch, tore them from the ground and threw them in the creek to make more room for cattle to graze according to Fred Kinney, who was a later caretaker for the ranch.
